Job Description
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create comprehensive test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing on web/desktop/ mobile UI and embedded systems.
- Ensure compliance with internal testing standards and guidelines.
- Design and implement automation frameworks for UI and embedded testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using appropriate tools and technologies suited to the application under test.
- Provide the traceability between bugs, tests and requirements.
- Contribution to the ongoing development of the software qualification process.
- Support in expanding and maintaining the test infrastructure, as well as integrating and developing additional tools and methodologies in collaboration with other experts.
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience testing Desktop/Web Applications /embedded systems, including hardware interaction and firmware validation.
- Understanding industrial communication protocols like CAN Bus, Ethernet IP based etc.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies like Software development/test lifecycle (SDLC/STLC).
- Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework).
- Familiarity with scripting languages like python, lua and version control (Git). Experience with test management tools like Xray, TestRail, or any similar applications.
- Very conscientious and structured work style with a strong personal commitment to quality.
- Ideally, prior knowledge in the fields of industrial automation and security would be beneficial.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification would be an advantage.
- Structured, independent working style and a strong team player.
- Open-minded, willing to learn and have a forward-looking attitude.
- Comfortable sharing ideas and suggestions in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- Analytical thinking, structured approach, and team-oriented mindset.
- Good communication skills in English (German is a plus).
- Support test reliability by handling recurring scenarios, stabilizing inconsistent tests, and clarifying evolving requirements.
