About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Production Manager and Research Assistant to oversee and manage the production operations of bio-fertilizers, bio-pesticides, organic compost, and botanical biostimulants. The role includes full-cycle production supervision, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and client order fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality agricultural inputs.
Role & responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end production processes of microbial fermentation (liquid & solid) and botanical extract formulations.
- Ensure adherence to established formulations and production protocols for bio-fertilizers, bio-pesticides, and organic inputs.
- Supervise plant operations and monitor efficiency, yield, and resource optimization.
- Conduct regular quality checks for compost, organic manure, and bio-products to ensure they meet industry and environmental standards.
- Maintain detailed records of quality assessments and implement corrective actions where required.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure product consistency and compliance with certifications and audits.
- Manage and coordinate client orders, ensuring timely production and delivery.
- Liaise with sales and logistics teams to meet client expectations and resolve delivery or quality issues.
- Maintain strong communication with clients to address feedback and special requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
- Continuously identify areas for process improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in fermentation, composting, and organic input technology.
- Propose and implement new techniques to improve operational efficiency and product performance.
Preferred candidate profile:
- Minimum of 5 years in the production of bio-fertilizers, bio-pesticides, compost, or organic inputs.
- Prior experience in handling audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections.
- Expertise in composting, fermentation, and production of organic inputs (liquid & powder forms).
- Hands-on knowledge of quality control protocols, lab testing, and documentation.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and industry standards.
