Job Description
We are looking for a talented Software Engineer Platform with strong experience in PHP and hands-on expertise in Laravel, CodeIgniter, and Lumen frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable back-end services and robust APIs, maintaining high performance, and ensuring system security and reliability.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Laravel, CodeIgniter, and Lumen
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and ensure secure data handling
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve bugs
- Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate backend services
- Manage and optimize MySQL databases; implement caching tools such as Redis or Memcached
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with appropriate unit and integration testing
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and implement best practices
Key Skills Required
- Strong experience with PHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter, and Lumen
- Proficient in REST API development and MySQL optimization
- Hands-on experience with Git version control
- Solid understanding of web security, scalability, and performance tuning
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities
- Experience working in Agile development environments
Good to Have
- Knowledge of React.js or Next.js
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud, or other cloud platforms
- Exposure to microservices architecture and DevOps practices
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in backend development
