Assistant Manager - IT Infrastructure

1.2. Minimum Qualification
B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline,
1.3. Minimum Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in installation and management of IT infrastructure across LAN/ WAN networks, VPNs, servers, and end-user systems.
1.4. Salary
Rs. 37,950/- per month (with an annual increment of 10%, subject to satisfactory performance)
1.5. Job Description
The job of Assistant Manager IT Infrastructure is to manage IT infrastructure of IIIDEM including servers, storage, hardware, network, wi-fi and other related aspects. He will also support the team for IT security policies, backup and other measures in place to ensure smooth operations and business continuity.
1.6. Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the job include the following:
(i). System Installation & Maintenance Installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, servers and other IT infrastructure.
(ii). Network Setup & Configuration Understanding, implementation, and configuration of Network LAN/ WAN/ VLAN and VPNs & Wi-fi Devices of network topologies
(iii). Server Administration He will ensure server administration for Windows Server and/or Linux server administration and macOS.
(iv). Network Security & Protection He will be responsible for Network security policies, firewalls, antivirus, and monitoring for intrusions, endpoint protection, data loss prevention (DLP) etc.
1.7. Skills and Competencies
(i). Competencies and awareness about latest hardware and network technologies
(ii). Skills in procurement
(iii). Skills in vendor management
(iv). IT infrastructure management, including Desktops, Servers, Network and IT security
1.8. Desirable
(i). Experience in managing IT Infrastructure in academic, training or large institution
(ii). Experience in managing vendors, monitoring service levels
(iii). Experience in IT security
