Assistant Manager, e-Learning

B. Tech or equivalent in computer science, information technology or related fields.


1.3. Minimum Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in IT application development and management


1.4. Salary

Rs. 48,300/- per month (with an annual increment of 10%, subject to satisfactory performance)


1.5. Job Description:

Assistant Manager, e-Learning will support the team in Centre for e-Learning in procuring, managing and operating IIIDEMs e-learning platform. He will support coordination with external agencies developing LMS and e-learning content. The role includes providing backend support for virtual classrooms, assisting in managing digital platforms, and ensuring smooth operation of e-learning system.


1.6. Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the job include the following:


(i). Coordination with e-LMS Platform vendor - Coordinate with external agencies engaged in developing and configuring e-Learning Management System (LMS) for IIIDEM ensuring timely delivery, quality checks, and integration with IIIDEM systems.

(ii). Coordination with Content Agencies - Coordinate with agencies developing content for various courses on e-LMS and ensuring the same is onboarded successfully on the platform.

(iii). Management and administration of e-LMS - support successful management of the platform, reporting and monitoring and providing necessary reports to the Centres and Schools of IIIDEM.

(iv). Virtual Classroom Support - Assist in the setup, scheduling, and smooth functioning of virtual classrooms for conducting online and hybrid training sessions.

(v). Technical Support for Digital Platforms - Provide backend support for IIIDEMs e-learning portal, mobile apps, feedback systems, and digital repositories to enhance user experience, integration with website and social media platforms etc.


1.7. Skills & Competencies

(i). Skills in e-learning technologies and platform management

(ii). Skills in System administration

(iii). Vendor management and coordination skills

(iv). Project Management skills


1.8. Desirable:

(i). Experience in managing or assisting e-learning or ICT-based training platforms

(ii). Exposure to virtual training technologies

(iii). Familiarity with web-based content management systems

(iv). Understanding of cloud storage, user access, and system security practices
