C++ Developer @ ThoughtFocus

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ backend components .
• Work with MS SQL Server to design and optimize database queries, stored procedures, and schema.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure software meets technical and business expectations.
• Utilize MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes) for UI or application development where required.
• Implement robust solutions with a focus on performance, memory management, and concurrency.
• Write we'll-structured code following Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Manage source code using tools such as GitHub, TFS, Bitbucket, or SVN .
• Work on either Windows or Linux OS based development environments.

• Strong knowledge of C++ for backend development (C++11/14/17 or higher).
• Experience in MS SQL Server development (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning).
• Hands-on experience with MFC is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of memory management and parallel programming techniques.
• Strong grasp of OOP concepts and design patterns .
• Familiarity with development on Windows and/or Linux platforms .
• Experience using source control tools like GitHub, TFS, Bitbucket, or SVN .
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
