Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled . NET Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building C# . NET WCF web services (REST SOAP) , web client applications using modern architectural patterns, and solid MS SQL expertise. A deep understanding of computer science fundamentals and designing for non-functional requirements (NFRs) like performance, concurrency, and availability is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain WCF web services (RESTful and SOAP-based) using C# and . NET technologies.
- Develop web client applications leveraging MVC , MVVM , and SPA patterns.
- Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects using MS SQL Server 2012+ .
- Ensure application architecture is aligned with business goals and supports key NFRs such as performance, responsiveness, concurrency, availability, and supportability .
- Apply strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) , design patterns , data structures , and algorithms .
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and UI/UX to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Assist in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging of applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with C# and the . NET framework , especially building WCF services (REST and SOAP).
- Solid experience with MS SQL Server 2012 or later , including DDL (Data Definition Language) and DML (Data Manipulation Language) .
- Proven experience in web application development using MVC , MVVM , and Single Page Application (SPA) architectures.
- Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals - OOP, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Demonstrated ability to design systems that meet non-functional requirements (NFRs) like scalability, availability, and supportability.
- Familiarity with source control systems like Git, TFS, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
