Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
Application administrator will be responsible for the availability of various Application components and underlying environments.
Configure and harden environments in line with documentation provided.
Resolve issues/requests within SLAs
Monitor availability of enough disk space
Ensure various backups are in place
Ensure all scheduled jobs run successfully
The administrator should be able to work on multiple environments at the same time.
Analyse Log Files to find out the root cause of the problem to troubleshoot.
Managing Production changes through release process on DEV / TEST / PROD.
Provided support on 24/7 rotational shifts.
Required Skills & Experience :
Understanding of the deployment process
Good understanding of RPOs and RTOs
Experience in analysing various error logs, troubleshoot issues
Perform RCAs, document issues, ensure CAPA is done.
Thorough understanding of SSL Certificates, Load Balancers, Web Application Firewalls
Understanding of API/ file/FTP based integration with third party systems
Thorough knowledge of SQL Server Database Instance
Good understanding of SQL Server Security features
Good SQL Server troubleshooting skills
Good knowledge of configuring SSIS, SSRS, deploying RDL files for the SSRS reports.
Good knowledge of Windows Server OS and components like IIS
Good interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
Good Knowledge in writing and analysing the PowerShell scripts.
Good problem-solving ability Certification on SQL is an added advantage
Available for 24/7 rotational shifts
8 to 12 years of Experience.
Education Qualification: Any Engineering or MCA with good academic background.
