Job Description

As a Process Optimization Manager at Muri Works of Hindalco Industries Limited, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, yield, and quality in alumina refining and specialty alumina production. You will provide technical expertise and support to operational teams, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions to optimize production processes. Analyzing production data and performance metrics to identify trends, assess process effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement initiatives will also be a key part of your role. Ensuring that production processes adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements, and implementing best practices in quality control will be essential. You will collaborate closely with engineering, R&D, and operations teams to integrate new technologies and processes that support production goals. Safety compliance is paramount, and you will be responsible for promoting and enforcing safety protocols and practices within the production environment to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Additionally, conducting training sessions for operational staff on new processes, technologies, and safety procedures to enhance overall team performance will be part of your duties. The ideal candidate should have 10-14 years of experience in process or production management in large-scale industrial settings, preferably within alumina refineries or similar heavy industries. As the Process Optimization Manager, you will report to the FH - Technical and Process department and oversee the technical and process team members. Muri Works of Hindalco Industries Limited, located in Chota Muri, 65km from Ranchi, is India's first alumina refinery with an initial installed capacity of 4 KTPA, now operating at 450 KTPA. The refinery produces standard and special grades of alumina and alumina hydrate to serve customers in various industries. The unit also includes a coal-based co-generation power plant, residential colony with health and recreational facilities, and spearheads CSR initiatives in nearby villages.,
