Job Description
- As a Software Engineer Intern specializing in Data Engineering at Infiligence, a global technology company with offices in California, USA, and Chennai, India, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to full stack development, data engineering, and innovative enterprise software solutions. Your role is crucial in contributing to the creation of scalable technology that drives the success of future businesses. You will have the opportunity to assist in designing, developing, and testing web applications and scalable data pipelines. Your responsibilities will also include supporting the integration of front-end and back-end components using modern frameworks and tools, participating in database design, data modeling, and ETL processes, collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams on live projects, documenting code and technical specifications, as well as troubleshooting and resolving basic technical issues under supervision. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field if you graduated in 2024 or 2025. A strong foundation in programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms is essential. Additionally, familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js, exposure to back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET, basic knowledge of database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL), and a keenness to learn and adapt to new technologies are mandatory qualifications. Preferred skills include experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS, exposure to data engineering tools such as ETL, data pipelines, and data warehousing, familiarity with version control systems like Git, and a history of participating in academic projects, hackathons, or coding competitions.
