As a Blockchain Engineer with 3+ years of experience, you will design, develop, and maintain blockchain-based applications and smart contracts. Your responsibilities will include implementing security protocols, cryptography, and consensus algorithms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing blockchain-based systems for performance, scalability, and reliability, conducting research on existing blockchain frameworks, and staying updated on the latest blockchain trends and technologies. To be a great fit for this role, you should have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 3+ years of experience in blockchain development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity, Rust, JavaScript, or Python is required, as well as experience with Web3.js, Express.js, Truffle, or other blockchain development tools. A strong understanding of smart contracts, consensus algorithms, and decentralised applications, along with knowledge of cryptography, security protocols, and data structures, is essential. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges are key traits for success in this role. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for team collaboration and technical documentation. Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts, and a willingness to integrate these technologies with blockchain solutions is a plus. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP for deploying blockchain solutions, as well as experience in developing or integrating NFTs, DeFi, or other blockchain-based use cases, will be beneficial.
