Cover Artist / Book Cover Designer (Publishing Industry)

Job Summary

Seeking a creative and detail-oriented Cover Artist to design captivating book covers across print and e-book formats. You'll collaborate with editors, art directors, authors, and production teams to translate submitted briefs into visually strong covers with professional technical outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop cover design concepts aligned with the books theme, genre, and market positioning
• Produce artwork for front cover, spine, and back cover, including typography, imagery, color palette, and layout
• Present multiple visual options in cover meetings, incorporate feedback, and finalize approved designs
• Work closely with production teams to ensure files are print and digitalready (bleed, trim, resolution, color profile, formats)
