Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain relational database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).Design and administer database clustering and high-availability solutions (e.g., MySQL Replication, or Percona).Monitor and optimize database performance using built-in and third-party tools.Analyze SQL logs and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize queries, and detect anomalies or security concerns.Develop, implement, and routinely test robust backup, restore, and disaster recovery plans.Configure and manage replication, failover mechanisms, and load balancing where required.Automate common tasks through scripting (e.g., Shell, Python).Support database design, tuning, and indexing to improve performance and efficiency.Document database systems, procedures, and configuration changes.Perform database migrations, patching, and version upgrades
