Job Description
Position Overview:
As an SEO Expert in our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies that enhance our online visibility and drive organic traffic. Your expertise in search engine optimization, combined with knowledge of web technologies and social media, will be crucial in supporting our digital marketing efforts across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-value opportunities and optimize content for search engines.
- Perform competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in our SEO strategy.
- Optimize website content, landing pages, and blog posts for relevant keywords and improved search engine ranking.
- Manage and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and search visibility.
- Conduct regular technical SEO audits (e.g., site speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability, indexability) and work with the web development team to implement recommendations.
- Monitor daily search performance, traffic, and rankings using SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz).
- Prepare detailed SEO performance reports and present findings and recommendations to
stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and UI/UX designers to ensure SEO best
practices are integrated into all digital initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of demonstrable professional experience in Search Engine Optimization
(SEO).
- Proven track record of successfully improving organic search rankings and driving significant traffic.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
- Proficiency with various SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush,
Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog).
- Strong understanding of technical SEO elements (e.g., schema markup, core web vitals, site
architecture, sitemaps, robot.txt).
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex SEO concepts
clearly.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills (Bonus Points):
- Experience with international SEO and localization.
- Knowledge of local SEO strategies, particularly relevant for services like interior design.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
- Experience with A/B testing for SEO elements.
- Understanding of the interior design, education, hospitality, or F&B industry sectors.
