Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance websites and web applications across various company verticals (e.g., TOPROCK Interiors, CMIS, LOF, F&B, TRG, CMG).
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, SEO specialists, and content creators to translate design mockups and requirements into functional web experiences.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code adhering to industry best practices and company standards.
- Implement and manage website content, features, and functionality, including new landing pages and dynamic sections (e.g., News & Events, FAQs).
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
- Ensure website security, performance, and scalability, including optimization for speed and mobile responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge within the team.
- Stay updated with the latest web technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our web development processes and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in full-stack, front-end, or back-end web development.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3 (including pre-processors like Sass/Less), JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework/library: React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Solid understanding of back-end development:
- Proficiency in at least one server-side language/framework such as Node.js (Express), Python (Django/Flask), PHP (Laravel/Symfony), or Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques and SEO best practices.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills (Bonus Points):
- Experience with headless CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress REST API, Strapi).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles.
- Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Understanding of the interior design, education, or hospitality industry sectors.
