We are seeking a Senior Dynamics 365 Business Central & F&O Technical Consultant with extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and Business Central solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in X++ development, AL programming, Power Platform integration, and Azure DevOps to drive complex implementations and customizations.
- Must be proficient in Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Must have experience in implementing 3+ D365 projects.
- Strong programming experience in X++ (F&O) and AL (Business Central).
- Expertise in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated unit testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse (CDS), SQL Server, and Azure SQL Database.
- Experience with customizing finance, supply chain, and operations modules.
- Ability to develop extensions, plugins, event-based triggers, and workflows in D365 F&O and BC.
- Strong understanding of security models, role-based access control (RBAC), and D365 user management.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 technical consulting, including F&O and Business Central.
- Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central & F&O solutions.
- Customize and extend Dynamics 365 applications using X++ (F&O) and AL (Business Central) programming languages.
- Develop and maintain integrations with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and external applications.
- Implement and optimize custom workflows, business logic, reports, and extensions in Business Central & F&O.
- Perform data migration, data transformation, and system integrations between Dynamics 365 and third-party applications.
- Design and implement APIs, custom services, and integrations using Azure services, Logic Apps, and REST/SOAP web services.
- Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and clients to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, deployment, security, and performance optimization.
- Manage deployments using Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, source control, and automated testing frameworks).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, ensuring smooth post-go-live support and system enhancements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, solution design documents, and development guidelines. Support presales activities, including solution demonstrations, proposal creation, and responding to RFPs/RFIs.
- Work with sales and business development teams to understand client needs and propose tailored Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.
