Associate Medical Coder @ Clin Biosciences

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Associate Medical Coder to join our healthcare delivery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing clinical documents and assigning appropriate ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS codes for diagnoses and procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Review patient medical records and accurately assign diagnosis and procedure codes using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and/or HCPCS

• Ensure compliance with government regulations and company coding guidelines

• Maintain confidentiality of patient health information

• Meet or exceed coding productivity and accuracy benchmarks

• Work closely with the coding quality team for audits and feedback

• Stay updated on changes in coding guidelines and payer-specific requirement.
