Automation Test Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in Java and Selenium. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
  
• Collaborate with developers and QA team to understand application features and architecture.
  
• Participate in the design and development of test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
  
• Execute automated test scripts and analyze results to identify defects.
  
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  
• Debug and troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and log defects in defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
  
• Maintain test documentation and contribute to test metrics reporting.
  
• Ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
  
• Strong programming skills in Java.
  
• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG or JUnit.
  
• Experience with Page Object Model (POM) and other automation design patterns.
  
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
  
• Experience with build and CI tools such as Maven, Jenkins, or similar.
  
• Basic knowledge of REST API testing (e.g., using Postman, RestAssured) is a plus.
  
• Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
