Job Description
Role & responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior Oracle Financials Techno-Functional Analyst to support and enhance our global Oracle EPM/Hyperion landscape. This role will initially focus on maintaining and optimizing our on-premises Oracle Hyperion 11.1.2.4 environment, with a strategic shift toward implementing Oracle Cloud EPM beginning in late 2025. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical and functional expertise in Hyperion/EPM and a forward-thinking mindset to help drive our digital transformation.
In This Role, You Will
- Apply advanced knowledge to support and enhance Oracle Cloud EPM and on-prem Hyperion (Essbase/Planning) modules and related applications.
- Work with consultants from a system integrator to lead and support the transition to Oracle Cloud EPM, including:
- Planning
- Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS)
- Narrative Reporting
- Account Reconciliation
- FreeForm Planning
- Collaborate with global business partners to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and configure EPM solutions to meet business needs.
- Create functional and design documentation aligned with business requirements and Oracle best practices.
- Coordinate and manage change requests and enhancement projects from initiation through completion.
- Drive business process improvements and automation using Oracle EPM capabilities.
- Perform system configurations and setups for both Cloud and on-prem environments.
- Partner with development teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions and validate deliverables.
- Provide support for month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
What You Bring to the Team
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of deep experience with Oracle Hyperion and/or Oracle Cloud EPM.
- 3+ years of experience with Oracle EBS R12 or Oracle Cloud ERP Financials modules.
- Working knowledge of Oracle SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
- Experience working in a global environment, preferably in retail, manufacturing, or distribution industries.
