You are invited to join our IT team as a Software Tester. The ideal candidate should have a degree in BCA/MCA/B.Tech. (Computer) or M.Sc.IT. with excellent communication skills and at least 1 year of experience in testing applications. You should have a working knowledge of test techniques, programming languages such as C# and MS SQL, and compatibility with various software programs. As a Software Tester, your responsibilities will include reading and understanding all relevant documents to determine the testing requirements, informing the test lead about necessary resources, developing test cases, executing test cases, reporting defects with severity and priority, converting use cases into effective test scenarios, tracking defects and reporting results, creating and maintaining a robust regression suite, and effectively coordinating with stakeholders. Additionally, you should possess good communication skills, knowledge of test automation and manual framework, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with Agile methodologies. The requirements for this role include working knowledge of C#, SQL, web development, and .NET Framework, experience with bug life cycle and proficiency in JIRA, knowledge of SQL Server Database including writing functions, stored procedures, and performance tuning, and familiarity with TFS for source control.
