Jr. Software Tester @ Skanda Trading Tech

Job Description

You are looking for a Software Tester with 2-3 years of experience to join our team at Prometteur Solutions Pvt. Ltd. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for manual testing, including designing, developing, maintaining, and executing test plans and test cases. Your role will involve conducting functional/regression testing of the entire application, evaluating product code according to specifications, and creating logs to document testing phases and defects. You will also be expected to report bugs and errors to development teams, conduct post-release/post-implementation testing, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Manual Testing, a good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect Lifecycle, and the ability to perform different types of testing like Smoke, Sanity, Integration, Regression Testing, etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work as an individual contributor. Basic knowledge of writing SQL queries is preferable. Ideally, you should have proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or in a similar role, along with experience in project management and QA methodology. Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing would be an added advantage.
