About the team
We are organized in Squads multidisciplinary teams made up of a Squad Lead, Business Analyst, Development Lead, Developers, and Testers. This structure fosters close collaboration, faster delivery, and a sense of belonging for everyone, regardless of their background or experience.
About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer I, you will help ensure our systems remain reliable, scalable, and high-performing. You ll advocate for best practices, contribute to automation, and help implement monitoring to keep our services running smoothly. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust software solutions as part of a collaborative team.
- Work together to troubleshoot and resolve issues raised by users.
- Share knowledge and learnings within and beyond your squad.
- Contribute to planning and analysis to help shape upcoming work.
- Provide support to teams across the organization, fostering a culture of cooperation.
- Champion continuous improvement efforts, welcoming feedback and new ideas.
Requirements
- Experience developing accessible applications with ReactJS (essential), especially Progressive Web Apps (PWAs).
- Solid understanding of TypeScript and JavaScript .
- Familiarity with Micro Frontend architectures such as the Piral framework.
- Experience working with REST APIs , GraphQL , and using Storybook for UI component development.
- Ability to write unit tests with Jest ; familiarity with React Native is a plus, not required. Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub, GitLab, TeamCity) is an asset, as is knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, MongoDB).
- Ability to mentor and support the growth of fellow developers, sharing expertise and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a wide range of colleagues including Product Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, user-facing products while upholding best practices and code standards.
