Civil & Structural Design Engineer - Transmission Line @ Everrenew

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Design foundations (pad, pile, raft, well) for EHV transmission towers based on soil investigation and terrain.

2. Perform structural analysis of tower components and ensure compliance with IS codes (IS 456, 800, 875).

3. Conduct sag-tension calculations, electrical clearance drawings, and adequacy checks of standard towers.

4. Support in route survey evaluation and line profiling in coordination with electrical teams.

5. Prepare and review structural drawings, BOQs, and design documents using AutoCAD and STAAD Pro.

6. Collaborate with clients, drafting teams, and internal stakeholders for design approvals and execution support.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proficient in PLS TOWER/PLS CADD/PLS POLE /STAAD Pro /.
• AutoCAD / RebarCAD for detailing.
• MS Excel (design spreadsheets), MS Word, PDF markup tools.
• Strong understanding of soil-structure interaction and foundation design methodologies.
