S/4 HANA Technical Consultant SAP Basis Consultant
Job Description -
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Should work on S/4 HANA and Fiori Application
Hands on experience on HA and DR concepts
HANA DB Cluster packages software knowledge should be must
Candidate will be responsible for the administration, management, and optimization of SAP systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. This role requires deep expertise in SAP Basis, including system installations, upgrades, migrations, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Upgrade , Configure, and maintain SAP systems, including S/4HANA, FIORI , PI/PO, Solution Manager, and other SAP components.
Perform SAP system upgrades including S4 HANA, Fiori , PIPO , Solman etc & patching, migrations, and support package implementations.
Manage and optimize SAP system performance, database tuning, and troubleshooting issues.
Configure SAP systems for high availability
Handle SAP landscape planning, system refreshes, client copies, and transport management.
Ensure system security, user management, and role-based access control following best practices.
Support SAP HANA and other database platforms, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery configurations.
Monitor SAP systems using Solution Manager and other monitoring tools.
Collaborate with functional teams, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless SAP operations.
Develop and maintain documentation for SAP Basis administration, processes, and procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working closely with SAP support when necessary.
Mentor and guide junior SAP Basis administrators.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA , Fiori PI/PO, and Solution Manager.
Experience with SAP HANA, Oracle, DB2, or other databases.
Hands-on experience with SAP installations, upgrades, and migrations.
Expertise in SAP performance tuning, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
Experience in backup and recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
Soft Skills:
