Recruitment of Civil Engineers for Construction Supervision of Project at Indore
We have urgent opening of Civil Engineers for Construction Supervision at Indore Region having 8-10 years of relevant experience in Industrial Projects especially in Pharmaceutical Industry.
Role Overview:
Engineer will be deployed on-site to manage daily work progress in alignment with project plans. Key responsibilities include resource coordination, safety and quality oversight, deviation reporting, forward planning, manpower forecasting, and initial measurement-based certification of contractor bills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resource Deployment & Site Clearance:
Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials; ensure the workspace is safe and cleared per daily/weekly plans.
- Safety & Quality Assurance:
Enforce health and safety regulations, manage compliance with quality standards, and conduct regular inspections.
- Progress Monitoring & Reporting:
Track actual work progress against plans, identify gaps, report deviations immediately to the Construction Manager, and implement corrective actions.
- Forward Planning & Documentation:
Prepare and document daily and weekly work plans; record progress and gaps; forecast next-day priorities based on the overall schedule.
- Manpower Forecasting & Material Management:
Assess current performance and manpower needs; align postings and deployment with overall completion plan.
Administer Material Management.
- Co-ordination & Meeting Management:
Co-ordination with Client, Contractors, Vendors & Consultants for Project Progress. Address the Meetings with Project team and higher Management of Client and keep records of the meeting out cum (MOM).
- Billing Certification (Level 1):
Perform first-level physical measurement-based certification of contractor bills to validate quantities and approve payment processing.

Job Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh (M.P.)
Reporting & Accountability:
- Reports directly to the Construction Manager.
- Delivers daily Reports, deviation reports, weekly plans, and Contractor Bill certifications.
- Supports swift corrective measures and ensures site readiness for upcoming tasks.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
Persons with PMP Certification is preferable.
- Experience: 8 -10 years of on-site Experience in construction supervision and Quality Assurance of which 4-5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Industry (Sterile Facilities like FFS/Equivalent Formulation) related Projects is preferable.
- Technical Proficiency:
a) Ability to interpret drawings, Indian standards, Industrial standards and technical specifications.
b) Strong documentation skills such as daily/weekly work logs maintenance, progress reports reparation.
c) Knowledge in cGMP is preferable.
- Safety & Quality Orientation:
a) Familiar with health & safety laws, PPE usage, hazard mitigation.
b) Quality control practices such as measurements, checklists, issue rectification.
- Leadership & Communication:
a) Strong communication skills, reporting experience, ability to coordinate across teams.
b) Leadership in guiding subcontractors and workers.
- Planning & Analytical Abilities:
a) Scheduling and resource planning experience.
b) Publication and maintenance of progress measurement, essential for billing.
