Job Description: Lead - Cloud & Security Operations
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India; Bangalore, Karnataka, India
Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead - Cloud & Security Operations to join our dynamic technology team. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee and optimise the day-to-day operations and security posture of our
multi-cloud infrastructure, spanning Azure, GCP, and AWS, with a strong emphasis on our Azure environment. You will lead efforts to integrate CloudOps, DevOps, and SecOps practices, ensuring reliability, scalability, performance, and robust security while supporting critical healthcare initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise across multiple cloud providers, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for driving operational excellence and security in a complex cloud and healthcare regulatory ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead and mentor the cloud & security operations team.
Manage team workload and project delivery.
Promote a culture of automation, security, and continuous improvement.
Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
Cloud Operations (CloudOps):
Oversee multi-cloud production infrastructure (Azure emphasis).
Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
Manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
Lead incident response and troubleshooting.
Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
DevOps & Automation:
Drive DevOps principles and practices.
Manage CI/CD pipelines for multi-cloud deployments.
Advocate and use Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), e.g., Terraform.
Automate operational and security tasks.
Ensure operational readiness of applications.
Security Operations (SecOps):
Implement and enforce operational security policies.
Oversee security monitoring and vulnerability management.
Lead security incident response and remediation.
Ensure continuous compliance with regulations (e.g., ISO, HIPAA, GDPR).
Manage multi-cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Monitor cloud network security controls.
Architecture & Standards (Operational Focus):
Operationalize cloud architecture designs.
Define and enforce operational standards and best practices.
Review architectural documentation from an operational view.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work with cross-functional teams.
Communicate operational status and technical concepts effectively.
Maintain comprehensive documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure, with extensive experience leading cloud operations across multiple major cloud providers (Azure, GCP, AWS), with a strong emphasis on Azure.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills across complex distributed systems.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Bonus Points:
Developer turned Cloud Architect
Relevant cloud certifications.
Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms.
Experience with scripting for automation.
Experience with security tools (SIEM, vulnerability scanners, etc.).
Experience with Data Platform infrastructure operations.
Experience in Cloud Cost management and Optimization
