Position: Process Engineer
Industry: Toys Manufacturing
Location: Kundli, Sonipat

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Process Engineer to join our Toys Manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and monitoring manufacturing and assembly processes to ensure smooth production, cost efficiency, and high-quality output. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing productivity, minimizing waste, and supporting the scaling of operations.

Key Responsibilities (KRA):

1. Process Design:
• Plan and design the layout of assembly lines for optimal workflow.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all assembly processes.
2. Efficiency Improvement:
• Conduct time and motion studies to evaluate task durations.
• Identify process bottlenecks and propose effective solutions to eliminate them.
3. Quality Control Support:
• Perform defect analysis and determine root causes of production issues.
• Implement corrective actions to reduce rejection rates and improve product quality.
4. Automation & Tooling:
• Strategize the automation of manual processes to improve efficiency.
• Recommend appropriate jigs, fixtures, and tools for better assembly accuracy and speed.
5. Training & SOP Implementation:
• Train operators and production staff on new processes and procedures.
• Ensure standardized work methods are consistently applied across all shifts.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

KPI Target

Assembly Line Efficiency greater than 85%

Rejection Rate less than 2%

Process Downtime less than 1 hour per week

SOP Compliance 100% adherence

Output per Shift As defined (X units / 12 hrs)

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
• Strong expertise in time study, line balancing, and lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD for process layouts.
• Experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.
• Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
