Job descriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to manage and oversee the construction of mid-sized commercial projects in the Delhi / NCR region, ensuring effective contractor supervision and timely project delivery.Civil Engineer Responsibilities:
- Inspect construction sites regularly to identify potential hazards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Supervise and instruct the construction team and subcontractors to ensure work is executed on time and as per the construction schedule.
- Ensure quality deliverables in all phases of construction, from foundation to final handover.
- Review and interpret construction drawings and blueprints, ensuring accuracy in the execution of construction activities.
- Manage site safety protocols, including providing first aid in emergencies and ensuring safe working conditions for the team.
- Coordinate with various teams to resolve technical issues, maintain site records, and provide progress updates.
- Collaborate with designers, architects, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with specifications.
- Ensure timely completion of all site activities, maintaining efficient resource utilization, and managing costs.
- Keep up to date with construction methodologies, safety standards, and building codes.Candidate Profile:
- Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of hands-on experience in the real estate industry, particularly in commercial building works and construction projects.
- Experience with HVAC, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), Fire Fighting (Water Sprinklers) will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and the ability to interpret construction drawings.
- Resident of Gurgaon preferred.
- First-aid certification is a must, or willingness to acquire it.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
