The Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure team focuses on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. Who are we looking for?
As an engineer in our team, youll be responsible for leading efforts in designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient software components and services to support health care platform, applications, and our end users. We believe in ownership and expect you to think long term, mentor, and empower other engineers. As a tech leader you will be responsible for the complete SDLC from architecture, development, testing, first class monitoring, to production. Build enhancements within existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture. Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. to support health care platform in Provider Reimbursement area. Provide technical leadership to other software developers.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field (Masters preferred)
- Around 10 years of experience in designing, developing, fixing, testing, and implementing software solution in accordance with established standards.
- Collaborate with other specialists, testers, and other team members to write high-quality code and deliver it to clients in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to write great code in Java, JEE, JavaScript, SQL
- Experience developing enterprise level applications.
- Experience with application development using frameworks such as Spring / Micronaut
- Experience in application design using architectural patterns such as Microservices.
- Strong desire to make an impact and thrive in collaborative and energetic environments.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts verbally and through design aspects.
- Chip in to scoping and improvement of solution designs, peer review code and design.
- Debug existing code to identify and resolve issues.
- Propose performance optimization and devise ideas for overall code refinement.
- Provide guidance to junior developers.
- Identify gaps in existing processes and suggest changes.
- Work independently on developing medium complex solutions.
- Propose and lead improvement projects for development, deployment, or application monitoring processes.
- Share knowledge within the team through mentoring, coaching and technical talks.
- Basic understanding and knowledge of AI / ML
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the healthcare industry and / or electronic medical records systems.
- Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Building continuous integration/deployment pipelines with robust testing and deployment schedules
- FedRAMP, PCI DSS, or similar compliance and auditing experience
- Expertise in applying threat modelling or other risk identification techniques to develop security solutions
