Java Lead with GCP @ Flair Tech Solutions

Job Description

Responsibilities

Ensure high performance and reliability of the team through sound software engineering practices
Mentor and provide technical leadership to the engineering team
Participate/contribute to the design of the solutions being delivered
Develop and maintain backend microservices using Java and Spring BootRequired Qualifications

7+ years of experience with backend Java development
3+ years of hands-on experience with a public cloud provider (Google Cloud preferred)
3+ years working with pub/sub tools like Kafka or similar
3+ years of experience with database design/development (Postgres or similar)
2+ years of experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo CD, or similar)Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform
Familiarity with Kubernetes concepts; experience deploying services on GKE is a plus
Strong understanding of microservice best practices and distributed systems
