Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Gurgaon
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive, analytical, and business-savvy Business Analyst to join our high-performing team. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between business needs and technology solutionstranslating ideas into actionable outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of critical thinking, technical aptitude, and stakeholder engagement skills to drive data-informed decisions and business improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather, define, and document business requirements.
- Analyze current business processes, systems, and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.
- Create detailed business analysis reports that outline challenges, solutions, and expected outcomes.
- Develop functional specifications, user stories, and process models to guide technical teams.
- Work alongside project managers and developers to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly.
- Conduct data analysis and prepare insightful reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings with cross-functional teams to gather input and align expectations.
- Support change management efforts and ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
- Monitor project progress and assist in validating deliverables against requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong command over requirement elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for documentation and reporting.
- Working knowledge of business process modeling tools like Lucidchart, Draw.io, or Visio.
- Ability to interpret data using SQL or similar querying tools.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Knowledge of SQL, Python (basic), or Excel Power Query for deeper data exploration.
- Understanding of UML, BPMN, or other process modeling techniques.
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms for project tracking.
- Exposure to ERP/CRM systems or enterprise applications.
- Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, PMI-PBA, or equivalent is a strong plus.
