Job Description

    As a PeopleSoft HCM Consultant, your primary responsibilities will include gathering and analyzing requirements to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. You will be tasked with documenting functional specifications and business process flows. Customizing workflows, approval processes, and reports will be crucial in supporting various business processes. Integration plays a key role in your role, as you will need to ensure seamless integration with other PeopleSoft HCM modules such as Core HR and Benefits, along with third-party systems like financial systems and tax reporting tools. Your expertise will be essential in configuring and customizing systems to meet the needs of the organization. Testing and validation are critical aspects of the job, where you will develop and execute test plans, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Troubleshooting and resolving issues identified during testing will also be part of your responsibilities. Post-implementation support is another key area where you will offer assistance in resolving system issues, optimizing configurations, and addressing user queries. Conducting knowledge transfer sessions to internal teams for ongoing maintenance will be part of your role. Staying updated on PeopleSoft updates, patches, and new features will be essential for process optimization and compliance. You will also be involved in providing insights through data analysis to support decision-making and audits. To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.1/9.2, including configuration and implementation. A proven track record of full lifecycle implementations, upgrades, or support projects is required. Familiarity with PeopleTools, understanding integration points with General Ledger, Benefits, and external systems, along with proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data, are essential skills. Soft skills are equally important, including strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex business requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively. The ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines is crucial for success in this role.
