- You are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Leader for our AWS Software Development practice. As an AWS Software Architect, you will be responsible for architecting scalable software solutions and driving the implementation of software projects on AWS. This role demands a deep understanding of AWS services and software development best practices. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and enhance the company's Software Development Services Practice. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will understand business needs and deliver technical solutions. This role is ideal for a technically proficient individual looking to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include acting as a visionary leader to steer, motivate, and drive exceptional performance in software development engagements. You will conduct proof-of-concept projects to explore strategic opportunities and recommend scalable solutions with a high return on investment. Collaborating with various teams, you will design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable software applications using AWS services. Additionally, you will lead the development and management of software infrastructure, ensuring automation of tasks while upholding software quality and integrity. In terms of architecture and design, you will be responsible for designing scalable and robust software solutions using AWS services that align with business requirements and best practices. You will evaluate and select appropriate AWS services for software development, deployment, and management. Overseeing the implementation of software development projects from inception to completion, you will engage in strategic discussions with customers to offer thought leadership and ensure software quality, integrity, and security throughout the software development lifecycle. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Technology and have at least 15 years of technical hands-on experience in software development. You must have experience with large-scale software projects, working across multiple geographic regions, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and API Gateway is essential. Strong understanding of AWS architecture, programming languages like Java, Python, Node.js, or Go, microservices architecture, serverless computing, and containerization is required. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, monitoring, logging, automation, performance tuning, and optimizing cloud-native applications is also crucial.
