Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer for a short-term remote project (12 months) to join Covalensedigital on a contractual basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks
  
• Work on data ingestion, transformation, cleansing, and aggregation from multiple sources
  
• Use Python, Spark, SQL for developing scalable data workflows
  
• Integrate pipelines with external APIs and systems
  
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and adherence to standards
  
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams
  
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines for smooth operation
  

Must-Have Skills:

• Python / Spark / SQL / ADLS / Databricks / ADF / ETL
  
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Azure Databricks
  
• Deep understanding of large-scale data architecture, data lakes, warehousing, and cloud/on-premise hybrid solutions
  
• Strong experience in data cleansing, Azure Data Explorer workflows
  
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality output within timelines
  
• Excellent communication skills
  

Bonus:

• Experience in Insurance Domain projects
  
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks, data cataloging, and data profiling tools
