Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Mandatory skills:

• Installation of Oracle and Database creation
• Incident Management and Change Management
• Database maintenance (Index re- build, table re-org, table partitions)
• User Access Management
• Database startup/shutdown
• Perform database RMAN backup/restores
• Export/Import utility
• Migrating the database across servers
• Database refresh /cloning and patching
• Hands-on on Oracle Dataguard.
• Hands-on experience on RAC environment.
• Database performance tuning, AWR reports
• DR Drill support
• Database Transparent Database encryption
• Reviewing and responding to DB health notifications and incidents.

Tools: ServiceNow/OEM

• Performing root cause analysis (RCA) for critical or recurring issues.
• Coordinating with Oracle Support for SRs and escalations. Good to have
• Exadata and MS-SQL SERVER/MYSQL Added plus Certifications:
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) would be an added advantag
