Senior Business Systems Analyst - Creative Capsule Goa, India | Full-Time
This position is focused on understanding client business needs both problems and opportunities and recommending creative and practical implementation options that address current and future requirements. The Senior BSA will work with SaaS clients of various sizes from startups to enterprise platforms and serve as a critical link between product managers, UX designers, developers, and other key stakeholders. The role demands independence, adaptability, and the ability to switch contexts efficiently. It also requires strong cross-functional communication, the confidence to push back constructively when needed, and the ability to navigate international client environments including US and Swiss-based clients while anticipating downstream impacts and keeping teams aligned.
Responsibilities:
Quickly understand client business needs, identifying both problems and opportunities, and recommend effective implementation options
Offer creative solutions that cover key use cases with minimal complexity and assist in resolving questions from clients or development teams
Translate business needs and concerns from stakeholders into clear, actionable technical details and ensure two-way understanding
Reconcile differing stakeholder inputs into a unified, coherent vision and ensure comprehensive specifications
Document requirements using best practices and tools; adjust complexity based on stakeholder understanding and project scope
Ensure technical teams can navigate documentation effectively throughout the project lifecycle
Define testable parameters to enable the QA team to verify software functionality and compliance with requirements
Collaborate with the UI/UX team to review user interfaces and contribute to interactive prototypes to support stakeholder clarity
Maintain alignment between evolving project scope and initial requirements and flag impacts on budget or timeline
Validate accuracy and completeness of delivered solutions against original requirements
Guide the preparation of system documentation including functionality, architecture, dependencies, and user/business processes
Contribute to the development of internal best practices and process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency
Technical Qualifications:
Experience in analyzing and documenting complex business processes and systems using diagrams and workflows (e.g., swimlane diagrams, flowcharts)
Experience in eliciting, managing, and documenting requirements for large-scale or complex software applications
Experience in using wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma (preferred) to create visual specifications and design mockups
Experience in preparing structured, navigable, and well-organized documentation with clear sections and cross-references using tools like Confluence, Google Docs, or MS Word
Experience in US English speaking and writing, with a proven ability to communicate clearly in both professional and informal settings
Experience with AI-related projects and ability to speak in detail about past involvement and understanding
Experience working closely with UX/design teams in a SaaS setting
Understanding of the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile or Scrum methodologies
Understanding of UI/UX best practices, including usability principles and how user interface design impacts functionality
Understanding of SaaS product design principles for both web and mobile platforms
Understanding of business and technical implications involved in AI-related projects, such as model integration, data handling, or ethical considerations
Knowledge of analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, including how to integrate them to capture usage metrics
Familiarity with managing client communications and expectations in stakeholder-facing roles, including senior-level presentations and demos
Familiarity with working with European or Swiss clients and understanding cultural or compliance nuances (a plus)
Personal Skills:
Ability to tailor verbal and written communication across audiences, from junior developers to executive stakeholders
Strong client-facing skills and ability to lead discussions independently
Ability to organize and synthesize information logically at varying levels o detail from high-level overviews to technical specs
Ability to research industry standards and apply them effectively to new projects
Ability to propose alternative approaches to clarify functionality when clients face decision-making challenges
Ability to break down complex problems into smaller, manageable components for effective resolution
Ability to visualize and structure abstract requirements into actionable insights
Ability to prioritize short-term deliverables and long-term objectives while adapting to changing circumstances
Ability to learn and apply new tools, concepts, and technologies quickly
Education and Work Experience:
Background in CS, IT or related scientific discipline is preferred
The candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in business analysis, preferably within SaaS environments
