Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of robust, scalable, and high-performance data architectures. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in data management and architecture, with deep expertise in cloud platforms, data modeling, and data governance. You will work closely with engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure our data infrastructure supports our business goals and delivers high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement enterprise-level data architecture solutions aligned with business goals and IT strategy.
  • Lead the development of logical and physical data models across transactional and analytical systems.
  • Define data architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with data engineering, BI, application development, and product teams to design scalable data pipelines and integrations.
  • Architect modern cloud data platforms (eg, AWS, Azure, GCP) and data lakes/warehouses (eg, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Define and maintain metadata, data lineage, and data quality standards.
  • Evaluate and recommend new data technologies, tools, and platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal security standards.
  • Mentor junior architects and data engineers and participate in architectural reviews.
Required Qualifications:
  • bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10-15 years of progressive experience in data architecture, data engineering, or database development.
  • Proven experience designing data platforms in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (eg, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Expertise in data modeling tools (eg, ER/Studio, Erwin, dbt).
  • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks (eg, Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica).
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
