We are currently seeking applications for the position of Lead Consultant-Automation Tester. As a Lead Consultant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software by utilizing your strong technical skills and a meticulous approach to quality assurance. Responsibilities: - Writing and executing reusable, modular, and scalable BDD automation test scripts for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing. - Designing, developing, and maintaining web automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Webdriver Io. - Designing, developing, and maintaining mobile automation frameworks using tools like Appium. - Planning and managing test automation activities to ensure timely execution. - Conducting detailed root cause analysis throughout the software stack using various debugging tools. - Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins. - Ensuring application compatibility across different browsers, platforms, and devices. - Performing API testing and automation. - Maintaining comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, automation strategy, execution logs, and defect reports. - Collaborating closely with development, QA, and product teams to align automation strategies with project objectives. - Managing test efforts using Jira for test case management and defect tracking. - Conducting thorough testing of applications to ensure alignment with user requirements and business objectives. - Performing UAT in accordance with strict guidelines. - Researching and implementing best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. Qualifications we seek in you: Minimum Qualifications / Skills: - Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Solid grasp of Agile methodologies. - Extensive experience in mobile testing and automation using Appium or similar tools (both IOS and Android). - Proficiency in Web automation using Selenium/WebdriverIo or Playwright. - Experience in writing and maintaining test documentation. - Substantial professional experience as a software engineer or SDET focusing on test automation. - Strong programming skills in languages such as Python. - Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Pytest BDD, Behave, or Cucumber. - Hands-on experience with modern testing tools and frameworks such as BrowserStack, Webdriver.io, Playwright, and others. - Experience with API testing and automation using tools like Postman, REST-assured, or Request. - Basic knowledge of database technologies. - Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills. Preferred Qualifications / Skills: - Experience with performance testing. - Holding a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. This position is located in India-Bangalore and is full-time. The educational requirement is a Bachelor's or equivalent degree.
