The Corporate Development (CD) Team at Cognizant is responsible for implementing the company's M&A strategy and inorganic growth mandates. The team works on sourcing, executing, and integrating acquisitions to drive growth and differentiation. With a track record of over 30 global acquisitions in the past 6 years, the CD team is committed to further strengthening Cognizant's position in key markets, industries, and service offerings. To expand its global presence, the CD team is establishing a team in India focused on strategic commercial due diligence, value capture, and post-merger integration capabilities. As a key leader within the global Value Capture (VC) team for Corporate Development, you will play a crucial role in defining post-close value capture opportunities across the M&A lifecycle. This includes collaborating with business unit leaders to identify revenue synergy opportunities, develop organizational operating models, and plan cost synergies. Post-close, you will work with business units to drive accountability for the value capture plan, guide integration teams, and ensure stakeholder alignment. In addition to leading VC activities, you will assist in preparing executive deliverables, collaborate with other teams to ensure high-quality output, and continuously improve the M&A value capture approach. Successful candidates for this role will have extensive industry experience in business or technology services, expertise in business strategy and commercial due diligence, and over 15 years of relevant experience. A degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field is required, with an MBA preferred but not mandatory.
