Job Description
- As a Staff QA Engineer (Automation) at Procore, you will be an integral part of our QA Engineering Team in India. Your primary responsibility will be to design and execute software testing plans for various key customer-facing and internal applications. You should possess self-motivation, creativity, and a proactive attitude to thrive in a fast-paced environment with diverse technologies and lab environments. Collaboration with developers, project managers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders will be crucial in this role. Reporting to the Sr. QA Manager in our Bengaluru office, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. You will be involved in designing and executing test cases, both manual and automated, to verify that the software meets business requirements. Additionally, you will suggest functionality improvements based on usability standards and review requirements documents for consistency and correctness. Post-release and post-implementation testing will also be part of your responsibilities. We are seeking candidates with 8+ years of experience in a software test engineering role or its equivalence. A problem-solving mindset with demonstrable critical thinking skills is essential for this position. You should have a thorough understanding of software testing methodologies, QA tools, Agile principles, and experience in developing test automation frameworks. Proficiency in mobile automation testing for Android and iOS platforms, along with tools like Appium, is required. Experience in API testing and exposure to Test Driven Development are also preferred.
