Job Description
1) He will responsible for planning of material procurement of project as per budget and project execution planning according to specification mentioned in tender documents.
2) His role involves coordinating with planning team, execution team of the project.
3) He should have thorough knowledge of material requirements, specifications, quality consciousness.
4) He should be able to prepare proposals of procurements, searching vendors and suppliers, negotiations etc.
5) He should be able to collaborate with project managers, planning team and execution team to frame time line for procurements.
6) He should understand terms and conditions of purchase orders, taxes and regulations
7) He should be able to track the purchase orders, delivery of materials at site as per the planning and time line requirement.
8) He should be able to arrange for third party inspections, Department inspections by coordinating with manufacturers/suppliers.
9) He should be able to identify and implement cost saving opportunities without compromising material quality or project time line requirement.
10) He should be able to control site store, Handling of materials and tracking of billing.
11) He should be able to control the inventory and reduce excess stock.
12) He should be able to maintain records of purchase orders, invoices, delivery receives, stock register, physical stock verifications, safety and security measures. Planning according to specification mentioned in tender documents.
