Position Title:

Virtual Technical Trainer IBM Mainframe Systems & Tools (Training + Industry Experience Required)

Experience Required:

315 years of hands-on experience in one or more IBM mainframe domains/tools listed below, along with proven experience in training, mentoring, or coaching technical audiences.

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced Virtual Technical Trainers with both strong industry expertise and a background in delivering technical training on IBM Mainframe Systems and related tools. You will be responsible for delivering high-impact virtual training programs to corporate clients, universities, and professional learners. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in one or more IBM mainframe technologies and prior experience as a technical trainer or mentor.

Core Competencies Covered (Domain expertise in one or more):

• IBM Mainframe Operating Systems:
  IBM z/OS, z/VM, z/VSE, IBMi (AS/400), System zSeries, JES (Job Entry Subsystem)
  
• Programming & Job Management Tools:
  IBM MVS JCL, TSO REXX, IBM Utilities, ISPF, TSO/ISPF, Session Manager, Supersession
  
• Storage & Data Management:
  IBM DSS, DFSMS, SMS, File Master Tool, RMF
  
• Monitoring & Performance Tools:
  Omegamon, zMMT, zPMT, Fault Analyzer, Log Analysis Tool, Debugger
  
• Middleware & Transaction Systems:
  CICS, CTG (CICS Transaction Gateway), IBM zOSMF
  
• Security & System Control:
  RACF, ACF2, TopSecret, IBM Installation Manager, HMC
  
• Backup, Recovery, & Storage:
  IBM Spectrum Protect
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and practical virtual training sessions aligned with learner needs
  
• Develop training assets presentations, labs, assessments, and reference material
  
• Address queries, guide learners, and explain real-world implementations
  
• Collaborate with content teams to update material based on IBMs evolving technologies
  
• Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback to learners and stakeholders
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 315 years of industry experience in IBM Mainframe technologies
  
• Hands-on experience as a trainer, coach, or mentor
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
  
• Ability to break down complex topics into structured, easy-to-learn content
  
• Self-driven, organized, and capable of handling multiple batches
  

Mode of Work:

100% Virtual / Remote

Location:

Open to trainers based in India or globally, with availability to deliver sessions in Indian Standard Time (IST)
