Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Strong hands-on with MERN stack: Node.js, React.js, Express.js, MySQL (or PostgreSQL)
• Implement features using Next.js for SEO-friendly and performance-oriented UIs
• Design modular backend architecture using NestJS
• Good grasp of AWS services: EC2 / ECS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch etc
• Knowledge of serverless architecture (using AWS Lambda)
• Hands-on with Docker, containerization, basic CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices
• Experience in writing secure, scalable REST APIs
• Familiar with unit testing, Git, and Agile development practices
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and DevOps for smooth delivery

Preferred candidate profile

• 3-6 years of development experience with MERN stack
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and architecture
• Proficient in AWS services (Lambda, S3, EC2, API Gateway, etc.)
• Experience in building apps using Serverless Framework (or AWS SAM/CDK , Terraform)
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container management
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Git workflows
• Good understanding of relational databases, preferably MySQL & Postgres
• Exposure to automated testing and code quality tools (Jest, Mocha, ESLint, etc.)
