Java Application Developer @ JRD Systems

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java, React, Progressive Web Applications (PWA), and SQL/BigQuery. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and hands-on skills in JUnit, writing unit and integration test cases. Exposure to cloud-based analytics, AI/ML tools, and low-code platforms will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop robust backend services using Java, integrating with relational and cloud-based databases.
• Build modern and responsive frontend applications using React and Progressive Web App (PWA) technologies.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using TDD practices.
• Design and implement unit and integration test cases using JUnit.
• Collaborate with data teams to query and analyze large datasets using SQL and BigQuery.
• Integrate and visualize data with tools like Looker.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of the application.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum development environments and participate in code reviews and design discussions.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot preferred).
• Expertise in React.js and component-based frontend development.
• Experience building Progressive Web Applications (PWA).
• Proficient in SQL and working knowledge of Google BigQuery.
• Solid understanding and experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Strong hands-on knowledge of JUnit.
• Experience writing unit tests, integration tests, and understanding of test coverage best practices.
