Summary: Miko is an advanced consumer robotics company passionate about bringing the best of technology to young learners everywhere. Our robots use playful, conversational learning to educate, engage, and entertain kids. Our robots have been designed for ages 5+, and we actively sell in the US, UK, UAE, India, along with 140 other countries.The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating and maintaining design systems and helping the team apply them across mobile apps, websites, and CRM campaigns to create an elegant and usable product experience. The position requires providing deliverables under tight deadlines and supporting the development team to ensure pixel-perfect implementation. High standards of design aesthetics, as well as attention to detail, and the ability to mediate and cope with rapid changes. Above all, the role requires a dedicated individual who understands the Android Material Library and iOS Human Interface Guidelines to its core.Job Description:We are looking for a talented and creative UI Designer with 2-3 years of experience, specializing in designing apps. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of design fundamentals, user experience principles, and a deep appreciation for how users interact with digital interfaces majorly from the target market based in the US. You will work closely with our product and development teams to craft visually engaging and intuitive experiences for parents.Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop engaging UI experiences expertise in applications with Subscription-based business models, IoT device connectivity & advanced onboarding experiences.- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs in tools such as Figma, Adobe Suite, and Affinity.- Develop interactive and visually appealing interfaces that align with the cognitive abilities and preferences of mid-age and old-age users.- Conduct user research and usability testing to refine designs based on parent behavior and feedback.- Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure a seamless and delightful user experience.- Maintain design consistency and contribute to a design system tailored for digital experiences.- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in app design.Requirements:- 2-3 years of proven experience in UI design, specifically working on digital Interactive Learning apps.- Strong knowledge of design principles, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.- Expertise in design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Affinity.- Preferred Domain Backgrounds: Educational technology platforms, Smart home/connected device applications, Digital learning management systems, Fitness/wellness tracking apps, Productivity and professional development platforms- Strong understanding of usability, accessibility, and interaction design principles for mid-age and old-age users with the major target market being US audiences.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Why Join Us- Opportunity to work on impactful app product.- A creative and collaborative work environment.- Exposure to cutting-edge design tools and industry trends.Job Classification
