QC Chemist : Surfactants @ New India Colour Co

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

-Testing of raw material, additives and finished products

-Report any discrepancies to Asst. Manager- QC

-Enter analytical results in SAP and maintain proper log books

-Address customer complaints along with Asst. Manager - QC

-Ensure all outgoing dispatches are as per the approved customer specifications and report discrepancies to Asst.

-Manager-QC, whenever required

-Ensure all incoming raw material are as per the approved specifications and report discrepancies to Asst. Manager-QC, whenever required

-Coordinate with production for online testing of finished/intermediate products

-Ensure active matter, acid value and Ph are as per production plan

-Assist timely trouble-shooting of product quality and analyzing root cause, whenever required Up-keep, cleaning and regular maintenance of all LAB instruments and equipment

-Materials to be tested - LAB , AO , ELA , LA , LABSA , SLES , SLS , AOS , Sulphur , Caustic Soda

-Any other responsibilities given by management

Preferred candidate profile

-12th Pass: with Min. 5 Years

-Bachelor/ Masters: 3 Years

-Previous experience in handling LAB, Sulphuric Acid, AO,ELA,LA, Sulphur, LABSA, SLES, AOS, SLS and Caustic Soda will be given preference

-Previous experience in Sulphonation / sulphation plant will be given preference

-Previous experience in bulk, basic and specialty chemical industry will be given preference
