Job Description
Okta Engineer -1
Okta Implementation & Administration:
o Design, deploy, and manage Okta solutions to meet the organizations identity and access management needs.
o Configure and manage Okta tenants, applications, and security policies.
o Ensure seamless integration of Okta with on-premises and cloud-based applications.
API Management:
o Develop, implement, and maintain Okta API integrations to support automation and self-service capabilities.
o Work with development teams to integrate Okta APIs into custom applications and workflows.
o Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
Identity Governance:
o Implement and manage identity governance policies and processes, including access certifications, role-based access control (RBAC), and segregation of duties (SoD).
o Collaborate with the security team to ensure compliance with identity governance regulations and standards.
o Conduct regular audits of identity and access management processes and provide recommendations for improvements.
Security & Compliance:
o Ensure Okta configurations align with the organizations security and compliance requirements.
o Monitor and respond to security incidents related to identity and access management.
o Keep up to date with the latest security threats and Oktas capabilities to mitigate them.
Collaboration & Support:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and development, to ensure cohesive identity and access management practices.
o Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams regarding Okta configurations, APIs, and identity governance practices.
o Create and maintain documentation related to Okta configurations, API integrations, and identity governance processes.
