Job Description
- The role you will be taking on involves preparing test cases and conducting testing of the product, platform, or solution to be deployed at a client's end, ensuring that it meets 100% quality assurance parameters. Your responsibilities will include understanding the test requirements and designing test cases for the product, authoring test planning based on business and testable requirements, and implementing Wipro's testing methodology using Model based testing for efficient test generation. You will also collaborate with the development team to identify and capture test cases, set criteria and parameters for testing, and engage in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Your role will involve automating the test life cycle process at appropriate stages through methods such as vb macros, scheduling, and GUI automation. You will design and execute the automation framework, develop and automate tests for software validation, and ensure that test defects are properly documented and reported. It is essential to detect bug issues, prepare defect reports, report test progress, and ensure that delivered work items meet defined norms and SLAs. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing feedback on usability and serviceability, tracing results to quality risks, and reporting to stakeholders. You will engage in status reporting and maintain a customer-focused approach with respect to testing and execution. Timely responses to customer requests, accurate reporting in project trackers, and maintaining good quality interactions with customers are crucial aspects of this role. Key Performance Parameters: 1. Understanding the test requirements and designing test cases of the product to ensure error-free testing solutions, minimum process exceptions, 100% SLA compliance, and the number of automations using VB macros. 2. Executing test cases efficiently and reporting on testing quality, on-time delivery, troubleshooting queries within TAT, and CSAT score. Mandatory Skills: Advisory and consulting.
