Lead II - Software Testing - Automation @ GE Industrial

Job Description

As an Automation Test Engineer, you will utilize your hands-on experience as a consultant to independently advise teams on adopting testing best practices. Your role will involve applying your expertise in Quality Assurance within an Agile Software/DevSecOps Software delivery environment. You will be responsible for both manual and automation testing of Web Applications and REST APIs, requiring proficiency in testing frameworks for efficient execution. Your skills will be put to the test as you demonstrate proficiency in both manual and automated testing frameworks. Experience with frontend automation frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver will be essential in ensuring the quality of web applications. Additionally, your knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, Pytest, or REST Assured will be crucial in validating the functionality of REST APIs. In this role, familiarity with tools like QTest and Tricentis will be beneficial as you triage bugs from application logs. Your ability to effectively communicate with teams and stakeholders to prioritize and address issues will be key to success in this position.
