The Quality Engineering team works in partnership with other Technology Functions and the Business to ensure quality delivery of our products. The team works in an Agile environment and is located globally. The team is independent in driving all decisions and is responsible for continuously improving customer experience, revenue growth and operations enablement through quick turn-around of development of our products with high quality. As a Lead Quality Engineer, you will make a key contribution in building solutions to test applications across Web/Mobile/API/Services platforms and framing efficient data comparison methods. Your challenge will be reducing the time to market for products without compromising quality, by leveraging automation and innovation. You will use a wide range of technologies and have the opportunity to interact with different internal teams. These products are directly associated to revenue growth and operations enablement. You strive to achieve personal objectives and contribute to the achievement of team objectives, by working on problems of varying scope where analysis of situations and/or data requires a review of a variety of factors.Whats in it for you:

Work in an Agile environment and adhere to all QA best practices.
- Work in partnership with Scrum team members, including engineering and product management, to deliver business functionality on-time, with required quality, and that meets the acceptance criteria
- Write test cases and scenarios from the requirements/designs; manage bug tracking.
- Trigger, monitor and control the execution of automated test suites, identifying issues and potential gaps.
- Support QA governance of test processes, data, and execution metrics to help drive improve the performance of team.
- Perform risk analysis for features/projects in your ownership, provide mitigation and escalate appropriately.
- Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to analyze, debug and resolve any issues.
- Design and develop automation/performance solutions that meet organization standards and build reliable, reusable, and maintainable automated regression suites & test harnesses.
- Design and develop test plans, test cases based upon functional and design specifications, execute test cases and analyze and report test results to the teams.
- Acts as a test lead, planning the work of other testing staff and assigning tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Uses strong testing skills to provide guidance and assist project staff.
- Reviews and approves the work of project team members in the writing of scripts, expected results, test results and defect descriptions. Ensures best practices are followed and testing activities stay on schedule.
- Focus on building efficient solutions for Mobile, Services/APIs, Database testing requirements.
- Participate in internal/cross team meetings, project scoping, functional reviews, test specifications, technical reviews for assigned projects in an Agile environment.
- Involved in requirements review and participate in architecture/design reviews with an emphasis on test automation/performance strategy and ensuring best practices.
- Participate actively in functional, system and regression testing activities.
- Capture quality assurance data and metrics to provide insights and conclusions.
What were looking for:
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 Years of experience and proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing techniques in an Agile/Scrum framework.
- Strong analytical thinking, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with ability to work with technology stakeholders at various levels and including global teams.
- Experience with testing Native and Hybrid mobile applications for both iOS and Android devices.
- Experience working with iOS Simulators and Android Emulators.
- Experience in debugging Android and iOS Apps using Android Studio and Xcode.
- Experience with frameworks and tools used for mobile app automation testing including Selenium and Appium preferred.
- Mobile Automation experience on cloud platforms such as APP Center/BrowserStack preferred.
- Good to have - Experience in Mobile Security, performance, and Accessibility testing
- Good to have - Experience in API Interception/monitoring tools like Charles/Fiddler/Postman.
- Good to have - Experience leveraging CI/CD tools such as Jenkins/ADO.
- Understanding of SQL and databases, should be comfortable in writing SQL queries.
- Exposure to test automation using any automation framework.
- Knowledge of working with SOAP and REST services and understanding of SOA architecture will be added advantage.
- Programming concepts with OOP and coding skills in any language are a plus.
- Knowledge of testing in continuous integration/DevOps models is a plus.
- Understanding of Cloud technologies like AWS/Azure and micro-services, containers integration testing will be added advantage.
